Technology Positions

Senior Software Engineer, Applications

Position Duties:
Develop, modify, and maintain software and utility programs for sophisticated employee benefit software systems. Perform technical analysis of customer requirements, and write programs that adhere to functional and strategic requirements. Prepare and submit for review a weekly status reports to management. Monitor and track all time to tie back to business product lines.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or equivalent foreign education as determined by written evaluation. Must have a minimum of three years of post-bachelor's degree experience developing N-tier applications and custom web applications for corporate clients, including using C#, VB, VB.NET, VBScript, JavaScript, T-SQL, and XSLT programming languages.

Must have experience utilizing Web Service and XML; creating dynamic web forms using ASP.Net, ADO.Net, Component Art 2.1 and Component Art 3.0 technologies and SQL reporting service. Experience with Agile and UML-based development methodologies. Must have at least one Microsoft Certification relating to these requirements.

Sales Representative Positions -

  • Benesyst has created new positions for Sales Representatives in each of three areas: the Los Angeles/Southern California area, the Cincinnati market, the Denver market, and the Minneapolis/Upper Midwest area.

    Position Description:
    These positions require the sale of complex services, industry-leading benefits technology and services to broker/consultant, employer, TPA, and insurance company sales channels. The long-term nature of our client relationships and partnerships requires that our sales executives have considerable proven knowledge and sales experience in employee benefits and thrive in a context of high-level relationship-building in a demanding, competitive and increasingly technological field. You must be able to create and deliver a highly effective sales presentation, cultivate existing and new contacts in the assigned territory, develop prospects in the over-500 employee marketplace, and close sales. Successful representatives must develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape in a variety of sales channels and effectively articulate Benesyst's many functional distinctions.

    Requirements:
    • Integrity; references will be required
    • 3+ years field sales experience with proven ability to deliver significant new business
    • 3+ years of Business to Business sales and Benefits Administration operations experience required, particularly relating to outsourced employee benefits management solutions including online benefit enrollment, eligibility management and billing, COBRA and retiree administration, and FSA, transit and HRA/HSA administration
    • Demonstrated experience with consultatively selling complex solutions and a high interest and aptitude for mastering evolving benefits technology.
    • Excellent organizational skills, superior time management strategies and the ability to work with minimal supervision from an office detached from headquarters.
    • Intelligent self starter with a demonstrated passion for consultative selling and the drive to work both smart and hard to succeed in a demanding, challenging position.
    • Proven ability to make effective individual and group sales presentations to decision makers.
    • Proven ability to negotiate sales terms and close sales at the executive level.
    • Demonstrated attitude toward being a team player and a desire to assist with team leadership.
    • Ability to drive or fly to client locations as needed
     
    Customer Care

    Customer Service Representative

    Purpose of the Job Role:
    Responsible for inbound Customer inquiries regarding their Flexible Spending Account program and claims, COBRA and Retiree administration and Online Web Enrollment and Eligibility Management.  Responsible for customer satisfaction in all areas of the Continuation Services Department

    Qualifications:
    • Customer Service experience in the benefits arena
    • Strong attention to customer relationship building
    • Well organized
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
    • Effectively interacts with other team members and departments
    • Strong belief in working in a team environment
    • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office products
    Responsibilities Include:
    • Answering participant inquiries via phone and email
    • Keeping up-to-date with FSA and COBRA law changes that impact our business
    • Working with carriers and other vendors to resolve any eligibility or financial discrepancies
    • Work proactively to understand the customer's upcoming needs
    • Be a driver of process improvement ideas within the team, implementing those items as possible after review by the team
    • Demonstrate leadership qualities by doing what it takes to meet deliverable

    COBRA Department

    Accounting Clerk

    Role: This department is responsible for managing the complete continuation service process including COBRA, Severance and Retirees for Benesyst clients. The Accounting Clerk will handle general accounting duties as they relate to monthly dispursement, monthly employer paid billing, refund processing and check processing. Responsibilities also include data entry into the COBRA system, providing back-up on Carrier Statements and special projects.

    Requirements:
    • Proficient in MS Excel
    • Well organized and detail oriented
    • A problem solver with multi-tasking capabilities
    • Strong background in Customer Service
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Processing
    • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness
