Severance Arrangement Administration

Severance Arrangements between an employer and an employee are essentially agreements which provide the terms of separation. Often, these agreements call for the extension of employee benefit programs on the same basis as when the employee was actively employed for a specific period of time. Typically, this means that the individual whose employment was "severed" needs to continue to pay some portion of the cost of the benefit in order to retain coverage.
