Employee Self-Serve

Employee self-serve functions allow employees to perform the actions authorized by the employer. This could include basics such as enrollment, viewing benefits, address changes, and so forth. It could also include allowing employees to make some of the more complex-to-process changes that result from life events. All changes are validated in the Benesyst system. Allowing employees to serve themselves in a fully validated environment causes consistent application of the rules. Furthermore the system can then automatically follow-through to carriers, billing and payroll, preventing costly and time-consuming billing mistakes. Naturally, it also saves the employer a lot of time, and employees will generally make these changes at home, rather then during work hours - another plus for both the employees and the employer.
