Online Enrollment

Online enrollment is increasingly preferred for the same reasons that automated systems are preferred in any efficient enterprise. An automated, online enrollment tool prevents incomplete data submission in conjunction with benefits enrollment (a huge improvement in and of itself). Online enrollment also dramatically reduces inaccurate data due to validation procedures built into the system. In addition, online enrollment allows employers to present information on benefit plans in a standardized, logical manner. This achieves benefit education impossible (or very expensive) to achieve in the past. Content management provides easy access to supplemental education and reference resources. Decision support tools such as benefit comparison help employees make the best choices, replacing time consuming individual employee counseling that used to be provided by HR/benefits staff, where it was even possible to provide.

Benefits can be presented in all standard benefit formats, cafeteria formats (defined contribution) and opt-in, waive and other credit scenarios are fully automated within the system. Furthermore, voluntary benefits and most related EOI (Evidence of Insurability) requirements and their related processes are fully supported.
