Non-Qualified Executive Medical Reimbursement

Non-Qualified Executive Medical Reimbursement plans are sometimes utilized as selective executive benefit programs. These plans, by their nature, do not qualify for tax-advantaged treatment. Essentially, they create a form of taxable cash compensation by reimbursing the executive for personal medical expenses not covered under the employer's standard health plans.
