Call to Action on Proposal to Eliminate the
Tax Deductibility of Health Insurance and FSAs
Dear Employer, Consultant or Broker,
If you believe that dollars paid towards the purchase of such basic human needs such as food, shelter and healthcare should receive preferential tax treatment, please know that this benefit is
now being considered for elimination.
Write your representatives today
The
attached letter is available for your use in writing to your Members of Congress – both Representatives and Senators. The letter asks that the proposals to eliminate the tax deduction, as well as FSAs and HSAs be rejected. Please read the letter to better understand the situation. Make any changes you see fit.
If you believe that eliminating the tax-deductibility for health insurance is a step in the wrong direction, if you feel that with increasing deductibles and coinsurance, that FSAs should not be eliminated, please take the time to send a few letters today!

Lowering the cost of healthcare is important. You may agree that starting that process by raising costs by eliminating the tax benefits flies in the face of reason. Please read (and send your version of) the attached letter.
